We can offer group supervision for a number of people to share experience to develop understanding, knowledge, skills, resilience, and practical strategies to work safely and effectively. This draws on evidence based interventions and a theory base to meet clinical guidelines, offer best practice and support continuing professional development.
Group supervision benefits from the bringing together of many. Given the large amount of information likely to be generated by several people meeting together we can act as a facilitator to aid positive communication, regularly summarising what has been discussed and agreed and asking for participant feedback throughout and to conclude the meeting.
We can help you to create an atmosphere of trust and respect and a chance to speak and to be heard by negotiating ground rules, the purpose of meetings, the length and regularity of meetings, and roles within the meeting.
We are able to offer supervision sensitive to context e.g. in a ward, nursing home or community setting. We may explore specific or general practice based experience to build on successes and problem solve difficulties and challenges.
We have experience of working with a range of professional groups, including Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Doctors both within and alongside NHS services, or representatives of staff within organisations.
